• There was no Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or verified profiles. Online reputations did not exist.
• iPhone 3 just came out and there was no video calling and lots of dropped calls because of network issues
• Remote work and hybrid work were not a thing and COVID-19 hadn't happened yet

Our new world needs a new social platform

• People live and breath on the internet now, their online reputation is their livelihood and massive. As of now, therock has 302m followers on Instagram.
• All major platforms have people with over a million followers
• We're on iPhone 13 Max with 5G connectivity and 1080p video quality
• Remote work and hybrid work is normal and COVID-19 made sure that everyone has a place to take video (Zoom) calls

In an internet first world, we've lost many of our social touch points, but haven't lost the need to socialize
